Tamagawa University's Brain Science Institute exhibited at CEATEC 2026, held at Makuhari Messe from October 13 to 16, 2026. Throughout the four days, the booth (Hall 4) offered a hands-on demo of Self-Mirroring Twins (SeMT). On October 14, Research Director Tetsunari Inamura also gave a pitch talk titled "Self-Mirroring Twins: From AI that Replicates You to AI that Helps You Change."
The pitch talk introduced the concept behind SeMT: AI that keeps people in the leading role while supporting them in changing their own behavior. In the demo, an avatar closely resembling each visitor in both appearance and voice was generated on the spot from their voice and face image, and visitors talked with it. We also generated "in-between avatars" that gradually blend the visitor's features with those of another person, so that visitors could compare how these felt against their look-alike avatar.
At Minna no Nou Sekai 2026, held on November 7–8, 2026, we will present our next hands-on exhibit, "Talking with Another Me".
